St. Patrick's Day

So we experienced our first St. Patrick's Day in Ireland on Sunday. Cork does a nice job with the celebration. Saturday they shut down the main street, St. Patrick's, to traffic and set up a large stage with some great bands playing and lots of food vendors and street performers. I must say, people were very into it. Almost everyone we saw had on an Irish hat, a shamrock or some face paint.

 

Sunday they had a parade. So many people came to see it and there was a great atmosphere there. They'd been predicting lousy weather all week, but we were so happy to see the sun.

 

 

Next year I'll definitely have to get one of those hats ;)

Happy 26!

26 years ago today I married my best friend.

We were 20 years old, thought that we knew everything, ready for adventure and totally in love.

Now, we're 46, thankful that we know anything, amazed by the adventure and still totally in love.

I thank God for giving me such a wonderful man to spend my life with and blessing us with the greatest son, daughter and son-in-law in the world!
